On the occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day, Matoshri Ayurved College, Dhanore, organized a week-long celebration with a series of events aimed at promoting Ayurveda and creating awareness about its importance in healthcare.
Week-Long Activities Conducted and its details-
1.Health Awareness Camp– Date: 16/09/2025
A health camp was held to provide Ayurvedic consultation and treatment to the public.
Specifically focused on diet and lifestyle modification.
2.Food (Ahar)Competition– Date: 18/09/2025
Students participated in a healthy food preparation competition based on Ayurvedic principles.
The competition was aimed to understand the richness and importance of Ahar Kalpana in Ayurveda
3. School Visit – Date: 19/09/2025
Students visited Kanchansudha international school, Dhanore to spread awareness about Ayurveda and its preventive healthcare concepts.
4.Meditation session for Students- Date: 19/09/2025
A meditation session was organized by swasthavritta and yoga department for students.
4.Guest Session – Date: 23/09/2025
On Ayurveda day, Dhanvantari and Samhita poojan was done with dhanvantari stavan. An enlightening guest lecture was conducted by Dr.Rashika Bhalke on Herbal formulations and its standardization and lecture on ADR & Pharmacovigilance by Dr.Pawan Avhad.
5.Awareness Rally – Date:23/09/2025
A rally was organized to spread awareness about Ayurveda among the community.
6.Street play- Date:23/09/2025
Students performed a street play highlighting basic principles of Ayurveda.
7.Ayush Shapath –Date:23/09/2025
Students and faculty took the oath to uphold the values and principles of Ayurveda.
