World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 5 June 2026 at Matoshri Ayurveda College, Dhanore, Yeola
The objective of the programme was to create awareness about environmental conservation and to encourage students to adopt eco-friendly practices.
The programme commenced with a welcome address followed by an informative talk on the importance of environmental protection, sustainable development, waste management, and the need to reduce plastic pollution.
As part of the celebration, a tree plantation drive was organized within the college campus.Our Principal Dr.Jyotee Badave ,Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively participated in planting saplings and pledged to contribute towards maintaining a greener and healthier environment. Various activities such as slogan writing, and awareness campaigns were also conducted to promote environmental consciousness among students.
The programme received an overwhelming response from all participants. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, highlighting the importance of adopting environmentally responsible practices in everyday life and reaffirming the commitment to environmental sustainability.
