23 April 2026, World Book and Copyright Day celebrate in Library.
On 23 April 2026, Matoshri Ayurved College in Dhanore, Yeola Nashik celebrated world book day and copyright day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was organized by the library staff to highlight the significance of literature and the importance of respecting intellectual property right.
At the beginning of the event, our chief guest, our college principal light the lamp and offered flowers to the Goddess Dhanvantari and Mata Saraswati to celebrate the event.
Following this, two esteemed teaching staff members of our college, Assis Prof. Dr. Zaheer Choudhari (Dep-Rog Nidan) and Assis Prof. Pallavi Mukke (Dep-Samhita), Shared their perspectives on the significance of world book day and copyright day. They emphasized the role of book in shaping mind fostering creativity, and the need to protect the intellectual property of authors and creators.
The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by the chief guest, our college principal Dr. Jyotee Badve. in her inspiring speech, she emphasized the transformative power of literature in shaping societies and individuals. She also stressed the importance of upholding copyright law to ensure fair compensation for author and creators. Even she told us her thoughts about books.
As the program drew to close, a vote of thanks was delivered by a student representative Dhruv Rathod who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, staff members, and all students for their participation and support in making the event a grand success.
